To reconnect fire pump equipment in Hammond and Trimble Halls, the Office of Facilities Management will require an electrical shutdown in both buildings beginning at 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 1st, lasting until approximately 12:00 midnight.
Building generators will support limited electrical needs for building security, remote locking, and networking. It is recommended you keep any computer work/data in progress saved during this timeframe to prevent any possible data loss. Also, to prevent any possible damage, we recommend you turn off all electronic equipment including computers, scanners, and copiers (these devices do not need to be unplugged from their electrical outlets) prior to this outage.
