In order to troubleshoot an electrical circuit supplying power to the SEIR Building’s standby HVAC Chiller, it will be necessary to turn off power to the affected breaker panel. This electrical outage has been scheduled to begin on Sunday, December 10th, at 4:00 a.m. and last until approximately 6:00 a.m. The SEIR spaces and equipment that will be affected are:

- HVAC in LER BC61, B62, B64, B66, B69B, B69A, B68, Corridor B65; when power is lost, exhaust flow will be sustained but supply air greatly reduced
- All equipment on emergency power circuits in LER BC61, B62, B64, B66, B69B, B69A, B68, Corridor B65
- MavExpress card access to B69A, B69B, B63, and LER BC61 from service corridor
OIT:
- All equipment supplied power from BSAL-IDF circuit breaker panel (see photo of BSAL-IDF panel schedule below) in Room B50

In these affected areas it is recommended you keep any computer work/data in progress saved during this timeframe to prevent any possible data loss. Also, to prevent any possible damage, we recommend you turn off all electronic equipment including computers, scanners, and copiers (these devices do not need to be unplugged from their electrical outlets) prior to this outage. Please share with your fellow faculty and staff members accordingly.
