In order to finish the replacement of the electrical feeder serving the following buildings, the Office of Facilities Management must schedule an electrical outage beginning at 6:00 a.m. on Friday morning, March 19th, continuing through Saturday afternoon, March 20th. Available emergency back-up generators in these buildings will be maintained throughout this outage to power crucial services.

It is recommended you keep any computer work/data in progress saved during this timeframe to prevent any possible data loss. Also, to prevent any possible damage, we recommend you turn off all electronic equipment including computers, scanners, and copiers (these devices do not need to be unplugged from their electrical outlets) prior to this outage.
Anyone needing emergency power to support research should contact either Toby Buhrkuhl at (972) 832-1490 or Jeff Johnson at (817) 798-8456. Toby or Jeff should also be contacted with questions or concerns and by anyone who will need access to these buildings during this timeframe.
