As a part of the on-going renovations to the Life Science Building, the Office of Facilities Management will be completing modifications to the above-ceiling heating, ventilation, and air conditioning components throughout the building. Modification activities will take place each weeknight between 9:00 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. beginning Monday, March 20th. We will start with the corridors and classrooms/labs on the second floor. Various air handling units in the scheduled areas will be shut down for a short period of time each night, but remaining units in the building will remain operational allowing temperatures to remain comfortable. Additional notices will be distributed as we move to other floors.
Please make note this work is being completed during overnight hours, so do not be alarmed if you see or hear activity in the building at unusual times. Please let your fellow faculty and staff members know as necessary. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and thank you for your cooperation.
