In order to complete major electrical upgrades/modifications on the UT Arlington campus, Facilities Management has scheduled an electrical outage for the following buildings beginning Friday, March 18th, at 8:00 a.m. lasting until approximately 12:00 noon on Sunday, March 20th.
Architecture Building
Engineering Lab Building
Fine Arts Building
Geoscience Building
Nanofab Building
Nedderman Hall
Woolf Hall
Each of these buildings are equipped with emergency generators which will be operational during this outage to support egress lighting, life safety, and all research facilities currently connected to a generator. All buildings will remain locked during this time.
All refrigerators/freezers should be cleaned out. To prevent any possible damage, Facilities Management recommends the turning off of all electronic equipment in the offices including computers, scanners, and copiers before leaving on Thursday evening (these devices do not need to be unplugged from their electrical outlets). Please let your faculty and staff members know as necessary.
