Facilities Management will test the emergency electrical generators 1-2:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23.
Buildings involved are Carlisle Hall, Engineering Lab Building, Engineering Research Building, the Central Library, Life Science Building, Nedderman Hall, Science Hall, Trimble Hall, and Woolf Hall.
The test will only affect the electrical services tied to each building’s generator, not the entire building. There will be a slight “blip” lasting a half-second as the electrical service transfers to the generator and another as it is transferred back to the normal building service.
