Forest Glen Apartments – Preparation for demolition begins June 3
Through the month of June, UTA Office of Facilities Management will begin the process of asbestos abatement at Forest Glen Apartments, 412 S. Cooper Street. The abatement will occur through July in preparation for demolition in August.
All student leases expired on May 31st, after the spring semester. The 50,479 square foot apartment complex was built in 1961. After extensive review and assessment of all campus housing, Forest Glen Apartments were not up to the standards of university housing. A great central location on campus, the current area will become a green space for the foreseeable future.
