Description of Course Content:

This graduate level class will assess through group critique the intensive and independent exploration of intermedia research and student artistic production.  Students are expected to be self-driven, extremely motivated, critically aware, and display advanced thinking, fabrication, presentation and verbal skills.  As practicing young professionals, peer review and intense critical discussions are meant to foster active learning and self-reflection.  Together, we are more than the sum of our individual parts.

Critique responsibilities:  In critique, students are expected to be present, honest, frank, attentive and supportive.

Work responsibilities:  I assess graduate students on the assumption that each student is dedicating 50 hours per week on their practice.

To that end, we expect students to prioritize their work and pay careful consideration to individual course requirements.
