Poster Guidelines (View Poster Tips for helpful info and design assets)
- Poster submissions must be horizontal and no larger than 48”x36” – we recommend using PowerPoint, InDesign, Photoshop or some other desktop publishing tool with editable canvas size.
- Export or save as a single-page PDF of less than 10MB. An online service like SmallPDF can compress your file for you.
- Upload your PDF using the MS Form found at the link above.
Video Guidelines
- Record a horizontal video of no more than 5 minutes of you explaining the research in your poster. You can use Microsoft Teams or Zoom to show the video and record your voice walking the viewer through the poster PDF as a shared screen, or any other formatting you wish that shows the work and you explaining it. Its not necessary for you to be on camera while discussing your research, but it would be nice to see all your faces!
- Use your last name and department to rename the file (for example: lastname_chemistry.mov) and upload the video to the MS Form found at the link above.
- Recording tips include speaking clearly and loudly in a quiet area and filming in a well-lit location if appearing in the video.
Headshot Photo Guidelines
Because of the hybrid nature of the event and to create some additional connection between the research and the researcher, we’re requesting that you submit a photo of yourself along with your submission. Please upload a JPEG or PNG file to the MS Form found at the link above.
Please Be Responsive to Online Comments
