Biography
I came from a small village in Vietnam. My family immigrated to the United States in 1975 after the fall of Saigon. I was placed in the first grade at the age of nine at Highland Park Elementary in Nederland, Texas due to my limited English. Upon graduating from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1985, I spent four years at Lamar University where I received my B.S. in Mathematics.
