Graduate Student Conference on Effective Teaching 

The Graduate Student Conference on Effective Teaching is an annual conference that is held in collaboration with The Graduate School and CRLTE (Center for Research on Teaching and Learning Excellence).

The goal of the conference is to provide graduate students an interactive, engaging, and professional experience focused on developing effective and innovative teaching practices that are applicable and useful for academia or transferable to other career pathways.

The conference also provides opportunities for graduate students, of all levels (Master’s, Doctoral, and Post-Doc) to interact, ask questions, and learn from other graduate students and faculty.  Graduate students are encouraged to attend the conference each year to build community and network with other graduate students. 

The format of the conferences includes multiple breakout sessions and one general session.  Breakfast and Lunch is provided for those who register.

The Graduate Student Conference on Effective Teaching is a half-day, in-person conference.  The conference is held on the UTA campus on the third Friday of September.  Breakfast and Lunch is provided for those who register.
