Programs and Resources
CIRTL-UTA Teaching Program programs are designed to supplement graduate students’ degree programs, not distract from them. CIRTL-UTA programming focuses on building small learning communities for graduate students of all levels (Master’s, Doctoral, and Post-Doc Researchers) to discuss teaching and learning practices and research, professional and career development, and build community and networks within and outside of their discipline. The level of participation is up to the students, but graduate students should check with their college/department to determine if CIRTL-UTA programming is built into degree/course requirements.
Many of the CIRTL-UTA Teaching Program requirements are built into and/or support current Graduate School programs. Graduate students at the doctoral and post-doc level can attend many of these Graduate School programs without needing to participate in the CIRTL-UTA Teaching Program.
